This is not the final store version. This post was created way before the times when myTube! was made official. Features may or may not be reflected in the store version.
Simply put, it’s the same awesome app you can find in Windows Phone store, but just a little bit better.
It’s more than a sneak peak. It is a secret time travel powered post.
So all around the Internet (or at least in the Windows Phone world) people are saying,
If you want Cortana outside of US, change your region to US.
This video suggest the same, and it also has a background audio which was used in the commercials for the Apple iPhone, how ironic.
I had other ideas, I thought of something else that works for now. I had an idea that Cortana might work if you keep your region unchanged as India and you just change all the language settings into US, at least the Bing services works that way now.
But nope, you have to set everything to US to use Cortana. No other way, no other workaround. But we din’t stop there, I tested what I endorse as an alternative idea, but found that it didn’t work that way. They are right, you only can get Cortana if you fully choose US in everything. No playing cheaters with Microsoft 😦
Sorry if that video kind of turned out to be bad, filmed with a phone while i was trying out things, no script.

Casts – a beautiful beta app in the podcast segment
There is a new podcast app coming in the Windows Phone 8.1, but that is still a month away. We are super fans of Podcast Lounge for its features and usability. And there is another player here, Casts. Casts is a podcast app and its currently free and its a beta.
So if you’re ready to test it, go grab it. After all its free, there is nothing stopping you from giving it a try. And remember its in beta still, so go easy if you find any bugs. And do report it to the dev 🙂 Following are some screen shots and as always the store links.
I happened to have a little conversations with Mr.Anthony Hanses from the Bing team on Bing Saves, it certainly seems promising for an idea and hope it’d turn out to be a great feature. Its just like Pocket/Instapaper/Readability, its a save for later, but its for the search! Imagine if you search Google and you can save a search result? Exactly! Its from Microsoft Garage and Bing Saves is a team of three! More like a startup. Have also suggested few stuffs like saving Bing Image of the day directly to OneDrive for example. Let’s see what and all is implemented and how it shapes up.
[P.S: This post has been written on 4th March 2014, and will be published as soon as Bing Saves is official. Not gonna let the word out until the Bing Saves, as a product and as a team, is ready for public launch. Publishing it anyway 😀 Neowin has this posted way before.]
Bing: “We have made the difficult decision to deprecate the Bing Saves (beta) service on April 21, 2014.”
This is what i have sent to the Malwarebytes, read on and you’ll know. If this Support Page‘s content doesn’t help, and you have Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit installed, and thee office’s word, power point and excel won’t start, just stop its protection while you want to use the office and start the protection back when you’re done with office. The following is my report to Malwarebytes this morning.
My Powerpoint, Word and other Office 2013 Professional Plus suite was working fine, and suddenly it stopped opening. A windows error report would be logged which just notified of an error and not the case. I reinstalled the OS twice, and repaired the Office installation twice and reinstalled the Office once, yet it just won’t start, i can’t even see the splash scree, then i finally found out today that the Anti-Exploit Beta is the one which is causing it. Once i stopped the protection, it opened just as before. And i don’t see a way to add Word, Excel and Powerpoint to the exclusion list. Please blog about this issue so that others can know about this, and kindly look into this issue.
